Parkinsons Disease App Tracker
Posted by Sophia Williams on
There is an app called Parky that you can use with your apple products, such as, an apple watch and iphone. The app designer; H20 Therapeutics states it has just been cleared by the FDA. Parky uses apples motion sensors to track and identify any tremors and movements from Parkinsons disease that are involuntary. Not only does that app track these movements, it also offers the ability to log when you take your medication. While they claim it is FDA approved, that may not be enough for some people to trust that it will accurately track this disease. The API from apples movement disorder seems to show that the data being recorded by the app, is mostly reliable.
